Night at the Zou Notebook

Missouri hosted approximately 75 of its priority recruits on Saturday night for the first "Night at the Zou." PowerMizzou.com recaps the day.

Players arrived throughout the day, but official registration began shortly before 6 p.m. The prospects all checked in, were weighed and measured and toured Missouri's facilities. They spent time watching a video with coaches in Missouri's meeting room and then went to the weight room where those who wanted to showed their stuff on the bench press with music blaring.

At about 8:00, the players and coaches hit Faurot Field under the lights. Prospects were tested in the 40-yard dash and went through a number of pro agility drills before matching up for one-on-one competition and a nightcap game of dodgeball.

Below are notes on some individuals who stood out or made headlines.

Linebackers Shine Under the Lights

Two of the most physically impressive players at the camp were linebackers Aubrey Miller and Jamal Brooks. Each hit campus with an offer already in hand, but each went through the complete day of drills against the elite talent on hand.

"I hate to say this, but not being ranked one of the top guys in the country and some of these guys actually are, coming out here and showing them who's boss, that's fun," Brooks said. "Any day I can come out and compete without any injuries (is good)."
