Mizzou flips second Bronco

A couple days after offering Micah Wilson and landing a commitment from that former Boise State commit Mizzou has convinced another long time Bronco commit to flip his commitment to Missouri.

Four-star Little Rock (Ark.) Christian running back Damarea Crockett was on his official visit in Columbia with Wilson this weekend when he decided to continue his football career with the Tulsa (Okla.) Lincoln Christian quarterback at Mizzou he told PowerMizzou.com via text.

Shortly after confirming his commitment with PowerMizzou.com, Crockett posted this message on his Twitter account:

Crockett rushed for over 1500 yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior Little Rock Christian. The Warriors finished the season 12-1. They lost their only game to Pulaski County in the Arkansas 5A semi-final game.

The 5-foot-11, 212 pound running back cemented himself as one of the top running backs in the 2016 class with his strong performance at the Rivals Camp Series in St. Louis. He was named the No. 1 offensive performer that day.

Despite being the No. 9 ranked running back and the No. 3 ranked prospect in Arkansas, recruiting never really took off for Crockett. He had a top two of Boise State and Arizona State back in May and eventually committed to the Broncos on July 13. Since then he had been very solid in his commitment until Missouri's new staff started showing very strong interest.

Crockett is commitment 15 for the Tigers in the 2016 class. He is the second four-star running back joining Natereace Strong as future Mizzou ball carriers. PowerMizzou will have more from Crockett as soon as possible.
